The Institute of Applied Finance trains professionals with the same analytical skills used inside investment banks, private equity firms, and corporate finance teams — and then places them in real internship experiences through partner firm cohorts.
Our mission
Most finance education stops at the certificate. You complete a course, get a PDF, and then you are on your own trying to explain to employers why that qualifies you for an analyst role. IAF was built to solve this problem.
We combine rigorous, practitioner-built certification programs with a structured path to real professional experience. When you earn your Analyst Certified credential, you become eligible to join a cohort and intern at a partner firm — working on live deals alongside experienced finance professionals. That is a track record you can actually point to.
Not everyone starts at a bulge-bracket firm. Not everyone has the network. IAF exists to change what is required to break into finance at a high level.

Earn Analyst Certified status
Complete all coursework and assessments. Your Analyst Certified credential is awarded upon program completion — it reflects genuine ability, not just seat time.
Apply for a partner firm cohort
Analyst Certified members are eligible to apply for structured internship cohorts at IAF partner firms. Cohorts place small groups of credentialed members to work on real deals and projects alongside experienced finance professionals.
